Since Fourth Economy’s founding in 2010, Rich has led efforts to help clients turn complex ideas and data into solutions for their communities. In 2021, he led the effort to join with Steer Group and now serves both organizations. With over twenty years of consulting experience, Rich has collaborated with a diverse range of organizations, governments, and private sector leaders to improve their communities and economies. He excels in tackling challenges and adapting to evolving efforts that require cross-system collaboration.
Before leading Fourth Economy, Rich used his strategic and entrepreneurial abilities to develop several successful public-private initiatives, including efforts to advance manufacturing, promote sustainable tourism, address workforce housing shortages, support start-up companies, and help communities understand resilience risks. Throughout his career, Rich’s work has received awards from national trade associations and has made a meaningful impact in communities across the country.
