Fourth Economy is currently accepting applications for internship opportunities with anticipated start dates in August and September 2026.
Our interns work alongside consultants on real-world projects related to economic development, community development, strategic planning, research and analysis, community engagement, housing, workforce development, and organizational strategy. Interns gain exposure to client work, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and strategy development while learning from a collaborative team of practitioners working across the United States.
We are seeking curious, thoughtful, and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about helping communities thrive. Students, graduate students, and recent graduates from a variety of disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early submission is encouraged, as internship positions may be filled before the application window closes.
