Infinite Erie

Infinite Erie coordinates inclusive growth strategies to deliver transformative change in Erie, Pennsylvania. Together with public, private, and civic leaders, Infinite Erie has a planned pipeline of neighborhood, main street, and infrastructure projects that would create $500 million in economic impact. 

Fourth Economy created a housing market study to support Infinite Erie in its goal of building and renovating 500 units of affordable and workforce housing over the next decade.

Our Approach

The housing market study provides detail and insight on how to target housing unit production to best meet the needs of Erie residents. Fourth Economy provided a comprehensive analysis of renter and owner trends, housing gaps analysis, and construction cost estimates for new rental and owner construction and renovation projects.

The Results

Infinite Erie can use this housing market study to  target its efforts and stabilize core neighborhoods surrounding Erie’s downtown. The study includes an understanding of analysis related to bedroom size, rent by bedroom size, construction cost, and homeownership data - ground truthing development realities.

The market study will further help Infinite Erie provide increased access to safe, affordable housing and neighborhoods using a multi-faceted approach to production and development throughout Erie.
