Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) is dedicated to the welfare of animals, pet owners and the community with a vision to bring about the end of animal abuse, suffering, and homelessness in the Pittsburgh region.

In 2023, HARP engaged with Fourth Economy to develop a Strategic Plan to guide the organization’s growth and development over the next five years. HARP is a multi-faceted organization that is recognized in the community as a trusted service provider for pets and pet owners, and its offerings are broad.

The strategic planning process will allow HARP to hone its unique value proposition, refine and align stakeholders around HARP’s mission and vision, and effectively tell the organization’s story to prepare HARP for its next impactful chapter.
