Carly promotes the power of storytelling as a tool for place making and development. Innately curious, she enjoys supporting clients through strategic planning and problem-solving, organizing complex ideas into actionable insights. Her work focuses on research, community engagement, and writing.

Prior to working with Fourth Economy, Carly managed operational strategy, analysis, and reporting with corporate and nonprofit businesses like American Eagle Outfitters and Boys Hope Girls Hope. With a passion for small business and entrepreneurship, she also launched a local tourism company promoting Pittsburgh’s cultural, outdoor, and Main Street assets. Over her more than decade-long career, Carly has developed an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving that she uses to advance client projects with Fourth Economy.
