City of Lorain Housing Action Plan
Lorain city leaders want to learn more about local housing conditions. We're interested in hearing from everyone - whether you live in a house, apartment, or any other type of home.
It's easy to share your thoughts! Take our housing survey to answer a few simple questions about your current home and what you'd like to see in the future.
About
Fourth Economy on behalf of the City of Lorain Building, Housing, and Planning Department is completing a Comprehensive Housing Strategy. This project will gather important information about the local housing market and the city's overall economy.
The goal of this project is to help with the City of Lorain’s 5-Year Plan. This plan will be a roadmap for identifying and implementing strategies to address housing, economic, and community needs in the city.
To do this, we need to study the housing market carefully to understand what's happening now and what might happen in the future. The City of Lorain wants to make sure our community grows and continues to be a vibrant place to call home. We’re looking for ideas and feedback from everyone about what’s needed and how we can improve housing in the area.
Get Involved
We will be hosting two community conversations, called Build Sessions, to engage Lorain residents in co-creating solutions to current housing needs. For your convenience, we are holding two sessions - one in-person at Lorain City Hall and one virtual session. Attendees are welcome to register for either session or both using the links below.
