READI to Win
Leveraging Public and Private Dollars for Regional Talent Attraction and Economic Growth

The $500 million Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) program was launched in May 2021 by Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) with the goal of advancing quality of place, quality of life, and quality of opportunity in order to attract and retain top talent throughout the state of Indiana.
This effort was launched just prior to the EDA’s announcement for the $1B Build Back Better Regional Challenge initiative which also is looking to regional partnerships to define a portfolio of projects and programs that will make a regional impact toward greater economic resilience. READI serves as a model for regions to consider as they assemble ideas for the EDA opportunity.
The READI program will dedicate grants of up to $50 million to self-defined Indiana regions to strategically advance projects and programs that help make Indiana a magnet for talent, innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. Regions will be required to provide 4:1 matching dollars to leverage the potential of READI.
Join us for a discussion with Mark Wasky, Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives with IEDC, about this transformational and innovative initiative leveraging private and public dollars to invest over $2 billion into the state’s economy for long term regional economic growth.
